- Ossification of the origin at the femoral attachment of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) of the knee after history of trauma, associated with anterior knee pain and restricted ROM.
- The injury is generally sustained as the result of a strike or unnatural stretch in the area where the medial collateral ligament joins to the femur.
- Decreased knee ROM
- Tenderness
- Pain
- Inflammation

- Rest
- Cryotherapy
- Anti-inflammatory medication
- Steroid injections to reduce effects of swelling
